About Pueo Haus
Many of our clients are builders of their own success. They know what works for them. They know what feels right when they walk through their home. What they often need is a partner who can translate that clarity into a landscape design that meets regulations, earns approvals, and holds up through construction.
We exist to close that gap.
We provide landscape design and project consulting in Hawaiʻi that connects interior living to exterior space. Our work prioritizes function, longevity, and coherence, so the landscape feels integrated rather than added on. The result is a property that supports daily life now and continues to make sense years down the line.
How We Approach the Work
When we visit a property, we pay attention to how our clients live. How they move through rooms. Where they gather. How they use space when no one is watching. Those patterns guide how we design outside.
From there, we account for the realities of the site. Zoning, HOA requirements, grading, drainage, climate, and construction logistics all shape the work. We design landscapes that can be approved, built, and maintained without compromise.
The client matters more than the fee.
The outcome matters more than the concept.
We work best with people and architects who care about the finished product and the experience of owning it. We want projects where quality, accountability, and respect for the process come first.

Who We Work Best With
Our clients often operate at a high level in their own work and expect the same level of care from their project team. They trust their instincts, respect professional guidance, and want a landscape partner who can translate vision into clear, buildable outcomes.
We also collaborate well with architects and consultants who care deeply about product quality and client experience.
When We’re Not the Right Fit
We believe strong outcomes come from mutual respect, shared responsibility, and clear communication. When those elements are
missing, it’s better to recognize it early and step away quietly.
Working With Us
We review each inquiry personally and engage selectively to ensure alignment from the start. Our focus is on thoughtful design, clear process, and landscapes that continue to serve their owners well over time.
